M. Vazoo City. Jan. 20. Obituaries Mrs.

Bessie Brown is at home after spending some time with Iter daughter, Mrs. M. T. Jolly in Gulfport convalescing following surgery in Kings Daughters Hospital. authorization to have the street, which runs by the junior high, closed to traffic during normal school hours.

Police Chief Odis Wilkinson said the order allowing the closing of the street was already on the books, and no further authorization was necessary. Mr. and Mrs. B. Frank Williams are returning home tomorrow after spending a week in New Orleans.

Hawk, and Mr. Hawk. The Rev. Dixon is pastor of Desert Cove Baptist church in Phoenix. Fifth street by junior high to be closed Fifth street, from Clay to Lamar streets, will be closed during school hours.

Superintendent of Schools Harold Kelly asked the city council Monday for Holly Bluff boys win; girls lose Holly Bluff killed another Big Eight giant with a 67-55 win over Jackson Wingfield Tuesday night. Olive Hearn Tyson, 70, of Route Four, Lexington died Tuesday morning, Jan. 13 in King's Daughters Hospital after a brief illness. She was a lifelong resident of Holmes County. W. Dennis, Pearl; Mrs. Harvey Jennings, Belzoni; Mrs. James Watson, Zama and Mrs. Arburtin Swinney of Yazoo City; three sisters, Mrs.

Dale Fleming, Jackson; Mrs. Alton Ferrell, Lexington and Mrs. Philip Zeigler of Zeigerville; six brothers, Jim Hearn, Woodard Hearn, Joe Ellis Hearn, Thomas Earl Hearn, all of Lexington; Samuel Hearn, Thornton; all of Lexington; Samuel Hearn, Thornton; and Marion Hearn of Baltimore, and a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren. Services were held on Wednesday afternoon from Southern Funeral Home Chapel in Lexington: Interment was in the Coxburg Cemetery. Pallbearers were John Hearn, Henry Hearn, Lowell Alton Ferrell, Vivian Ferrell, Louis Dean Ferrell, Samuel Hearn, Jr.

and Larry White. William Henry Abies William Henry Abies, retired farmer of Yazoo county, died Sunday night in Care Inn after an extended illness. He was 76. Services were Wednesday from Stricklin-King Chapel with interment in Tolarville Cemetery in Holmes County. The Rev.

James Carr officiated. Survivors are sons, Horace Henry S. and Cordell; daughters, Mrs. C. V.

Wilson, Pickens and Mrs. James D. Moore, Yazoo City; 14 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; four sisters and three brothers. Pallbearers were his nephews. Mrs.
